| Description: | Started ten years ago by African American brothers Duane "DT" and Brian "Bam Bam" Jones who were raised in Alaska. California natives lead singer Al Ramirez and bassist Shane Carlson complete the re-tooled, ready to tour Swirl line up! Having left the studio with 2 new tracks "Adrenaline" and "Sleepwalker" in May 2008 (which feature Cinderella drummer Fred Coury playing, producing and mixing the tracks) to add to the tracks previously produced by both former Quiet Riot/ current Ratt co-lead guitarist Carlos Cavazo and ex-Rough Cutt bassist Matt Thorr, Swirl`s blending of classic metal influences, modern style production (all final mixes done by Fred Coury), writing, recording techniques and high energy live show is getting the band a lot of attention in a very short time. Swirl just completed the East Meets West Tour 09 featuring RATT and Extreme summer 2009. Prior to this tour Swirl has toured on the Metal In America XXX-Mas Tour Nov- Dec 2008 (featuring Stephen Pearcy and his Rat Bastards plus Britny Fox) and the first leg of the Road To Nowhere Tour Feb- March 2009 (featuring the Bullet Boys). |
